Garden of Timelessness, 1996
Congressional Medal of Honor Memorial Park, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Unrealized proposal, competiton semi-finalist. Maquette shown.
Granite, stainless steel, native Pennsylvania plantings.

This work proposes to combine two 4' granite stones to represent the idea of the bond of mutual dependency formed when one saves the life of another. The names are listed on a stainless steel screen.

The stones are aligned with rows of oak trees in the formal garden which surrounds the site. The field shown here is grass.
